Show notes
Robb has spent years believing it was spelled “Traitor Joe’s.” Now the truth—and the groceries—can finally come out.
In Episode 003, a parking-lot handoff of collectible Elvis Matchbox cars leads Robb and Josh into the strange world of specialty groceries, suspicious shoppers, vegan marshmallows, chicken pot pies, frozen-food nostalgia, and the realization that the store may not have been betraying anyone after all.
Then Josh delivers the follow-up nobody expected: his completely scientific list of the smartest animals he has personally encountered. Chameleons, bees, birds, dogs, alligators, sharks, and several questionable definitions of “intelligence” enter the debate.
Plus, the guys preview the upcoming final TMOS cruise, compare restorative “artist weekends,” and prepare for Robb’s return to the high-school football press box—complete with stadium sound effects, deeply outdated music cues, imaginary attendance figures, and advice from the chat.
It’s groceries, collectibles, animal rankings, cruise talk, and enough detours to make the title feel almost responsible. It’s *Still Talkin’ 003: Traitor Joe’s*.
## Short Description
Robb and Josh investigate “Traitor Joe’s,” reveal an Elvis Matchbox treasure, rank the smartest animals, preview the final TMOS cruise, and build the least current high-school football playlist imaginable.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is Redacted, and my mom is founder 157, and you're listening to Still Talkin' with Rob and Josh.
[SPEAKER_03]: Rob's B-Wack.
[SPEAKER_03]: Josh, suckers!
[SPEAKER_03]: Still Talkin'!
[SPEAKER_01]: I do love our countdown, Josh.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's great, but I feel I should mention that I do not talk into an SM7.
[SPEAKER_01]: You do, but I don't.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's I do.
[SPEAKER_01]: People that are, you know, mental about stuff like that should know.
[SPEAKER_01]: And this ship hasn't sailed yet.
[SPEAKER_01]: no, but it's preparing it's definitely prepared.
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if you've ever watched a down under the the yacht reality show, but they're they're pulling up the chains they're getting ready.
[SPEAKER_02]: Um, I like to think it's more of when you see the big catering truck show up.
[SPEAKER_02]: They're loaded in the food and for the cruise.
[SPEAKER_01]: No, this catering trick doesn't have, doesn't have Donald Trump in it.
[SPEAKER_01]: Is he escaping something in the catering truck or is it actually food?
[SPEAKER_02]: Come on, in Mike's case, it's donuts and ice cream.
[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_01]: And you know what?
[SPEAKER_01]: You know what?
[SPEAKER_02]: And you're going to prompt too.
[SPEAKER_02]: In your case, it's a Lido salad dressing.
[SPEAKER_02]: I lived on that stuff.
[SPEAKER_02]: Thanks to you.
[SPEAKER_02]: In fact, this morning, I really went grocery shopping this morning.
[SPEAKER_02]: Did you?
[SPEAKER_02]: And one of the items I grabbed was pizza dough.
[SPEAKER_02]: so that I can make Lito's pizza, but the sauce you gave me.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, Fanta, I'm curious how it goes, because Lito's sauce, I mean, everything they make, and Lito's is a regional pizza place, I guess, was started around University of Maryland and the food.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, something like that.
[SPEAKER_01]: But it's a DC regional place, square pizza, they don't cut corners.
[SPEAKER_01]: And it is extra pizza, but their sauce is out of this world.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's because they use about eight cups of sugar in it.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's what the reason.
[SPEAKER_02]: It might be, it tastes like that.
[SPEAKER_01]: All right, are you ready to start the show?
[SPEAKER_01]: Of course, that's all right.
[SPEAKER_01]: Welcome everybody to still talking.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm Rob Spiewag and I'm just Roka.
[SPEAKER_01]: And this is a Thursday episode, the soft launch of the show that will ultimately be a part of your day as the Michael Maris Show is currently a part of your day.
[SPEAKER_01]: So we thank you.
[SPEAKER_01]: And let us start with sincere thanks because I feel that last Thursday, we both felt that after the initial surge of people becoming founders,
[SPEAKER_01]: It would slow down because we way exceeded what we had even hoped for and I don't want to diminish it but we hit a really good number last week and I mean enough that we were, I was so excited I even told my wife and I hate giving her good news because then she'll say well what's so what, how does this affect me?
[SPEAKER_02]: Right right, but what it had the way it affects is it makes us even more believe that you guys are supporting us and this is going to work out.
[SPEAKER_01]: We love it and again, I think Josh will agree the best thing is when we see names we don't know because these are people that are like background listeners or you know they used to say that like five or four percent of people that listen to the radio ever called in.
[SPEAKER_01]: And so, I believe this is our 96%.
[SPEAKER_01]: These are the people that don't live in the chat room or live on social media, they just listen to the show.
[SPEAKER_01]: And that's the bread and butter.
[SPEAKER_01]: And we thank you.
[SPEAKER_01]: Also, thank you to Matthew or Matt Henshaw, who kicked us 10 bucks today.
[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, Matt.
[SPEAKER_01]: Appreciate that.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's nice.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I believe it was Saturday or Sunday that there were no new founders that day.
[SPEAKER_02]: And it was the first time that had happened.
[SPEAKER_02]: So I messaged Rob and said, I guess it's over.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's a drive.
[SPEAKER_02]: But then it picked up like the next day was like three founders.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it was.
[SPEAKER_01]: And we're, we're at a good number now.
