In Episode 004, Robb takes Josh inside a Halloween Haunt preview packed with fog machines, monsters, candy apples, suspiciously enthusiastic influencers, and enough booholes to make anyone reconsider throwing a reflexive punch. The guys also imagine retired baseball legend Albert “Boohole,” debate the proper use of a no-scare necklace, and make plans to resurrect the turkey-leg challenge.

Then the conversation escapes the maze. Josh samples Season 35 of Dancing with the Stars, the guys pitch “Dancing with the Founders” for the final TMOS cruise, and Robb discovers a Wonka reality competition so bad he cannot stop watching it. There is also a well-earned Hall of Fame induction for founding listener Jolene White, a full-volume rendition of “Copacabana” performed for free sandwich-shop cookies, and an urgent debate over enormous holiday decorations—including a 40-foot teddy bear and the inseparable Miser Brothers.

[SPEAKER_03]: He is not a founder, not yet, but he got to open today's show because he was very kind and opening up the park for Halloween Haunt last weekend.

[SPEAKER_03]: So it's cool.

[SPEAKER_01]: is Halloween Haunt, actively running, I know you want to preview.

[SPEAKER_03]: And most of the stuff was in place last week, their big thing, which is the Diablo haunted maze, is opens tomorrow night Friday night.

[SPEAKER_03]: And I'll tell you a little bit about that.

[SPEAKER_03]: But I first want to open with a message to the people in our chat room.

[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I mean, we did a declaration of prints.

[SPEAKER_03]: And we're trying to be sort of normal and started nine o'clock every Thursday and make things right for you guys.

[SPEAKER_01]: When it would actually be helpful and useful, which is never, never, never.

[SPEAKER_03]: Because I mean, we said in the declaration, we're not going to argue about stuff that is not stupid.

[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, well, we argue about stuff that is stupid, but we won't argue about stuff we can't change.

[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's always smart to go and learn the other side.

[SPEAKER_03]: This is me with the general manager of Kings Dominion, which is a big deal to me that's Jennifer Showfield and she's the big cheese. [SPEAKER_03]: She runs everything down there. [SPEAKER_01]: What's your first time meeting her? [SPEAKER_03]: Yes, I've met previous general managers, which makes that even sadder had you have you uh, how were the other influencers that you ordered taken selfies with with staff? [SPEAKER_03]: No, they were mostly just, um, you know, Mike said something really nice yesterday. [SPEAKER_03]: He said, um, Rob, there's no one better than kissing us than you. [SPEAKER_03]: And you know what, that for many people would be an insult, I think, but when I think about it, [SPEAKER_03]: with what we do it's not a bad skill to have no it's a great skill and I can do it and almost come off genuine sometimes but yeah the the influencers let me give you an idea and now again I am one of you guys and I love the park and I love how they treat us as they call us the ambassadors I'm very thrilled to be an ambassador that's way better than influencer [SPEAKER_03]: but we stood in line to see what they were going to feature for a Halloween haunt kings of minion haunt 2026 and there were people in line to take pictures of pizza now okay he says not a seasonal snack no no but everything else on that table looks pretty interesting oh the merch is amazing but for why is why pizza? [SPEAKER_03]: That's some of the featured food, I guess. [SPEAKER_01]: I know, but like, is there something special about that pizza? [SPEAKER_01]: Like, no, Patroni's larger or something? [SPEAKER_03]: No, no, no, it's still your basic Victoria's pizza pizza. [SPEAKER_03]: So that you can buy a cake. [SPEAKER_01]: If you look above the pizza, there's a mistake of King's Dominion to put out the pizza. [SPEAKER_03]: Especially if they weren't serving it. [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, if they were serving pizza, then maybe. [SPEAKER_03]: But the merch is beautiful. [SPEAKER_03]: They're really, they're really doing it right for home. [SPEAKER_01]: Any popcorn buckets? [SPEAKER_03]: No, no Mr. Profit. [SPEAKER_03]: I didn't see any of them. [SPEAKER_03]: How much is that lounge fly backpack? [SPEAKER_03]: Is it around $60-$70? [SPEAKER_03]: I think it's less than that. [SPEAKER_03]: I didn't check prices. [SPEAKER_03]: I didn't check price. [SPEAKER_03]: Because I didn't need a backpack. [SPEAKER_03]: I did look at T-shirts. [SPEAKER_03]: T-shirts are holding steady at about 25 to 29. [SPEAKER_03]: That's how we look at the deal for T-shirts. [SPEAKER_03]: And you could probably resell them if you had that gene. [SPEAKER_03]: That called the Sroke gene. [SPEAKER_03]: When you tell your brother Matt, notoriously tight, he has Matt's Roca. [SPEAKER_03]: When you tell him you're reselling popcorn buckets, does he lick his lips like Phil Silvers did in Matt's work? [SPEAKER_03]: I don't think we've ever talked about it. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't think you can use much of my stuff. [SPEAKER_03]: He's sad now that baseball's over. [SPEAKER_03]: Why don't you bring up something that will bring him great joy? [SPEAKER_01]: Rob some how the Orioles yesterday won both games and the white socks lost what did I tell you for what I went to sleep for one more night with their being a chance I told you I told you it could happen and it's happening. [SPEAKER_03]: It could happen But you know, I will not buy the pizza KD because the turkey legs are available These are some of the pictures I took at heart. [SPEAKER_01]: All right. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm a fan of the turkey leg I'm also a fan of walking tacos [SPEAKER_03]: Also good. [SPEAKER_03]: So very good. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, there's they're kind of sneaking out on it's on the sign it deserves its own sign Well, they'll you know, I think the turkey leg is more of a fall offering walking tacos might come out in spring Okay, maybe the lean on it now when I talk about how good I am at kissing ass and again, I'm not bragging. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm just copying to it [SPEAKER_03]: My in is this and you've seen me use this very photo before. [SPEAKER_03]: When I went to the general manager I said, Jennifer, it's nice to meet you. [SPEAKER_03]: I've been coming here every season since 1976 and she gives me a slight I roll maybe a little side eye because she thinks I'm not telling the truth and then I show her this which is a picture of me at the park in 1976. [SPEAKER_03]: This is me in the striped shirt. [SPEAKER_03]: It looks like I need corrective footwear [SPEAKER_03]: And I said look there aren't even any trees on international street yet. [SPEAKER_03]: That's when I had her because she looked at me. [SPEAKER_03]: She says did you know that one of the other six like parks just removed some of their trees? [SPEAKER_03]: I said oh my god, you can't touch the trees. [SPEAKER_03]: And she says I know right and we had a genuine moment about [SPEAKER_03]: over the trees. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so that was very nice. [SPEAKER_03]: She could not have been nicer and just a wonderful host. [SPEAKER_03]: The general manager probably doesn't need to deal with the influencers, but she has come out and was very cool over. [SPEAKER_01]: And I don't know the other influencers, but I can say there's no one better to speak for King's Dominion than you. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, I love the place. [SPEAKER_03]: I don't take a selfie stick. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm not to that level yet. [SPEAKER_03]: Did see a lot of that. [SPEAKER_03]: This is me on a rival. [SPEAKER_03]: Absolutely in my happy place. [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, that's a happy rob right there. [SPEAKER_03]: Is it bad that I like going to a theme park by myself? [SPEAKER_03]: I don't mind going with other people. [SPEAKER_03]: Uh, you know, we've had a good time, but no, it's, I like going by myself. [SPEAKER_01]: No, and you and I have talked about just enjoying just being in the atmosphere ever seen park. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and also you get to do single ride things like if you have like an open seat on say raptor, you can hop on it, or if you want to do something, you don't have to have a quorum among the people among you to ride a ride or take a seat or do [SPEAKER_03]: Now, I did miss you at one particular moment, which was in the arcade. [SPEAKER_03]: This was a picture I did send you. [SPEAKER_01]: That is the Wizard of Oz coins from the little coin drop. [SPEAKER_03]: The coin pusher game. [SPEAKER_01]: And you don't get those coins all the time. [SPEAKER_01]: So you were doing very well on the coin. [SPEAKER_03]: I was doing really well. [SPEAKER_03]: We got some free tokens courtesy of the park. [SPEAKER_03]: And I was able to use those. [SPEAKER_03]: And reinvest. [SPEAKER_03]: I did not spend any of my points.
